After more than two weeks and worldwide headlines, revival services at Asbury University in central Kentucky came to an end recently. But the revival goes on off-campus.

Pulse's founder and president, Nick Hall, announced on Friday (Feb. 24) that there will be an all-ages welcome revival at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky, Sunday (Feb. 26) from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Many years ago, an old man who experienced a revival when he was younger was asked why the revival ended. His eyes were filled with holy fire when he cried, “When you lay hold of God, never, never, never let go!”

On Thursday, the Asbury University chapel service that started on Feb. 8 came to a close as the National Collegiate Day of Prayer was broadcasted live from the auditorium where it all began 15 days earlier.

As Asbury University approaches the second full week of what many have characterized as a revival, university president Kevin Brown announced that beginning this week, around the clock worship would come to an end.

If quoting “revival” frustrates you, don’t stop reading quite yet. I use those quotes with great intentionality.

On Feb. 8, following an ordinary chapel service at Asbury University, students were encouraged to stay after chapel if they wanted to continue worshiping God. More than a week later, that service hasn’t stopped.
