9. Mel Gibson
Mel Gibson, an actor, director and producer known for the “Mad Max” and “Lethal Weapon” movies, is also well-known for his film, “The Passion of the Christ.” Gibson has said that there will be a sequel that deals with spiritual warfare.
Gibson was raised as a Traditionalist Catholic, meaning he does not accept the “modernization” by the Second Vatican Council of 1962-1965. He founded The Church of the Holy Family, which isn’t affiliated with a Roman Catholic diocese, in Malibu, California.
Gibson has dealt with a variety of personal controversies, including alcohol abuse and derogatory comments he has made about the Jewish, Black and gay communities.
