Robby Gallaty Takes the Topic of Alcohol Consumption Seriously and Personally
The megachurch pastor quoted his friend, Chris Swain: “Alcohol has torn many families apart. It hasn’t brought any back together.” Gallaty and his wife have two sons, Rig and Ryder.
When ChurchLeaders asked Gallaty what he wanted his two sons to take away from his sermon, he answered, “I want our boys to understand what the Bible says in order for them to make wise decisions after they leave our home.”
Gallaty continued, “I’m trying to teach them not only what to think, but how to think through a biblical worldview.”
“Since their father has a propensity toward addiction, they need to be aware of the potential dangers down the road with alcohol and drugs,” he offered.
