Hoggs is in jail and will be extradited back to Hodgenville, Kentucky. He is charged with a Class C felony—theft by unlawful taking for property valued at more than $10,000 but less than $1,000,000. He faces between five and 10 years in prison.
Hoggs was previously arrested on similar charges in 2020 after being accused of ripping off several victims. He was charged with five counts of theft property after he failed to complete work on the roofs of six clients.

Investigators said that the total loss to the victims was nearly $170,000.
